Handmade Decorative “Vented” Terrarium

Handmade "Vented" Terrariums are what we would like to consider the "in between" of a traditional open or closed terrarium. Attempting to utilize a variety of different glass vessels  for different terrarium experiences these were a make-shift idea that turned into a successful terrarium build. Traditional "Vented" Terrariums had a cork top with a large hole that was filled with a tiny terra cotta pot and sealed with aquarium grade silicone-- the idea was the terra cotta pot being permeable to moisture would allow wicking to happen naturally to maintain moisture levels in the terrarium at a pace that suited the environment inside. These terrariums have shown to be one of the most self-sustaining designs created by mj.cultivates. Traditionally, the cork tops have been decorated with various scenic designs & our most popular design, I Spy.
