Each Handmade Microterrarium is unique & one of a kind in design. Each Microterrarium varies making each design unique considering each glass vessels varies in shape & size, each varies in Terrarium Plant Species & Moss Species, each varies in internal & external design elements, trinkets, decorative items, & glass finish.

Microterrarium Care 101

When the Microterrarium's reservoir is nearly dry (typically 1/4-1/2 of the water reservoir at the bottom of the terrarium should be filled) simply turn your faucet on a drip & add a couple of drops of water to your Microterrarium-- check back after an hour & if your resevoir has filled to 1/4 or 1/2, Perfect! If not repeat with a couple of drops of water & check back.

***MOLD HAPPENS***

Mold is common in terrariums & not as devastating as most may think-- most terrariums, with time, will self regulate & the mold will not be able to survive. IF your Microterrarium has significant mold growth covering a majority of the plants & decor on the inside please reach out to use to discuss a restoration for your microterrarium-- first thing if mold is detected is to open the lid and let some fresh oxygen into the enviroment (leave the lid off for as long as you'd like as long as moisture levels are sufficient for the plants inside)-- small amounts of mold will dissipate with oxygen exposure, if small amounts linger a 1:2 ratio of hydrogen peroxide & water can be mixed and missed over the entire inside of the microterrarium to disinfect & increase oxygen levels in the terrarium-- regardless-- PLEASE NEVER HESITATE to reach out via our contact form, email, phone, website chat, or social media with any terrarium questions or concerns!
